Since i got asked on Youtube what style my "personal style" was, so i gave it a thought.
The question was asked because I cite quite obvious other artists styles sometimes, but also because I switch from manga to more realistic art.
Style is a tool you can use to give your picture another layer of meaning in my opinion. So if you recognize somebodys style
in some of my work you can count on it I did it with an intention - other than other artists who like to stick with one style to express themself, I want to be able to change it when i feel the need to. It is something to think about in my work. Also I don't want every picture to look th

I feel a lot of people use the "you can't copyright a style" shield way too much, either conscious or unconsciously. Which is, in my humble opinion, such a lame statement as saying "you can't copyright a personality" or "you can't

Nsio's Four Tools for a Successful Drawing
Let's face it, drawing is hard. Especially for a beginner, learning to draw seem dauntingly challenging. Even more experienced artists have it hard and I'm not anyway different from that. At the same time, weirdly enough, drawing is surprisingly simple and straightforward thing to do. But that's when you know what you are doing.
In fact, drawing is probably hard for you just because you don't know how it's done. And if you ask an artist how it's done, you will likely get rather vague answer. They know how to do it, but they don't know how to explain it for you. Drawing is full of concepts that simply
What DeviantART is doing with the Core Membership is honestly disgusting. At first I thought it was just a name change, but this is what they've done.
>They've made memberships more expensive
>They've removed some features from the PMs, making them less enjoyable
>Added 'new' features, that aren't actually features
>In a nutshell, they removed more stuff from the PMs, and made them move expensive.
On top of that, they also don't view art theft as a problem anymore. They claim "since it's not physical, it's not theft".

Lately i am working on a shortstory and the basic plot is done..but i have extreme difficulities when it comes to dialogues. I think it might be connected with the fact that my characters are not really well thought out yet.
But honestly i can't really tell what a well thought character looks like....when i think about characters like sora of kingdom hearts i would say i really like it, but i guess i think so just because i am used to it and it reminds me of my childhood :
You go to an art website and you see plenty of this. It seems that artists are particularly prone to it, I don't know. Then, there is this depression awareness movement. It's good that it exist, but to be completely honest with you, I've grown tired of hearing about the same thing all over again, and also that the elaborate depression guides are lacking an important detail. Important to me, anyway.
You've had some shit in your life, but is it always all about what people do and say to you? I think it isn't. Maybe the reason you have depression is because you have an incurable disease or cancer, or both and you don't know it yet. These things

A probable solution to commission chargebacks.
Artists who create commissions know one caveat with accepting PayPal: their Seller Protection doesn't cover services, so they can and will be SOL if the buyer decides to dispute the transaction. While Buyer Protection doesn't cover services either, PayPal is notorious for ruling in the favor of the buyer, so the seller needs to look into other ways of protecting themselves.
Which leads to our discussion here, of how we can leverage Seller Protection to ensure scamming buyers can't run off with the money after the service is completed -- by converting your commission service into a tangible product.
